The District 1 tournament opens Tuesday with first-round action while the Inter-Ac Invitational moves to quarterfinal games Wednesday. Yes, playoff time … gotta love it.

This week’s rankings:

1, Haverford School (19-1) – The Fords, champions of the Inter-Ac League, host Shipley School Wednesday in the Inter-Ac Invitational quarters. Prev: No. 1

2, Conestoga (15-3) – The Pioneers, champions of the Central League, got the top seed and a bye in the District 1 playoffs and host the Springfield-Delco-Upper Dublin winner Thursday. Prev: No. 2

3, La Salle (13-4) – The Explorers have the No. 1 seed in the Catholic League playoffs and will host a semifinal game on Monday. Prev: No. 3

4. Downingtown West (18-0) – The Whippets, champions of the Ches-Mont League, received the second seed and a bye in the District 1 tourney and host the Bishop Shanahan-Owen J. Roberts winner on Thursday. Prev: No. 4

5, Episcopal Academy (15-5) – The Churchmen host Hill School Wednesday in the Inter-Ac Invitational quarterfinals. Prev: No. 5

6, Lawrenceville School (14-3) – The Big Red host Germantown Academy Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the Inter-Ac Invitational and can wrap up the Mid-Atlantic Prep League title with wins this week over Peddie School and Hun School. Prev: No. 6

7, Penn Charter (13-11) –
The Quakers are a hot team, having won five straight heading into Wednesday’s Inter-Ac Invitational quarterfinal grudge match at Malvern Prep. Prev: NR

8, Central Bucks East (17-1) – The Patriots, co-champions of the Suburban One Continental Conference title, received the third seed and a first-round bye in District 1 and host the Avon Grove-Plymouth Whitemarsh winner on Thursday. Prev: No. 9

9, Germantown Academy (10-9) – The Patriots travel to Lawrenceville School Wednesday for a quarterfinal game in the Inter-Ac Invitational. Prev: No. 7

10, Malvern Prep (7-9) –The Friars looked strong in their season-ending win over Germantown Academy, and they look to salvage an up-and-down year in the Inter-Ac Invitational. Prev: NR
