Rebel Elite has a high school club team and recently launched a U15 team. Its high school program has players from 18 different schools in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey, with PA players coming from as north as the Lehigh Valley.
Rebel Elite has been the runner-up twice at the MVP Tournament at Rutgers, and twice took fifth place at the Dick’s Tournament of Champions in Florida. Recent grads of the program include North carolina freshman sensation Joey Sankey (Penn Charter), Ohio State face-off specialist Shawn Kaplan (Plymouth Whitemarsh), Hobart face-off specialist Gryphin Kelly (Plymouth Whitemarsh), Oregon sophomore goalie Stephen Oppenheimer (Germantown Academy) and recent Quinnipiac graduate Jack Oppenheimer (Germantown Academy, attackman).
The new Rebel Elite shirts and pants and pinnies were designed by Wave One’s Stephen Oppenheimer, who also designed the uniforms for Chestnut Hill College (see story) and the decals for the helmets at Oregon (see story) where he is a a Product Design major.
