The Lehigh men’s lacrosse team made a major statement this week.
The Mountain Hawks’ 10-4 victory over nationally-ranked Penn at Franklin Field Tuesday was clearly one of their biggest wins in years. Lehigh, which also had blanked Manhattan, 13-0, after losing to Villanova, is now 3-1 heading into Saturday’s contest at No. 4 North Carolina.
The Mountain Hawks are hoping this is the year they crack the national rankings and make a run for an NCAA playoff berth as well as a Patriot League title under coach Kevin Cassese, a former Duke standout and Team USA middie who also starred for the Philadelphia Barrage during their two-year championship run.
Philly Gear shows off Lehigh’s Brown and White gear, which includes New Balance 897 cleats and New Balance MX871 cross trainers, New Balance uniforms and apparel, STX Assault gloves and Assault and Cell pads and Cascade Pro7 helmets.
