If you want high school lacrosse recruiting events, you have come to the right place – philly.
Beginning this weekend, there is an amazing array of high school events that will bring truckloads of college coaches.
Saturday, Nov. 3 – The Philly Girls Showcase at Westtown School – This third annual event features 238 girls, many from the Philly region. The day ends with two All-Star Games. Click here for schedule.
Sunday, Nov. 4 – The annual Quaker Fall LaxFest at Radnor High – Twenty elite club teams – 10 from Philly – will attract as many as 100 college coaches. Each team plays three games, with five fields being used. Click here for schedule.
Saturday, Nov. 10 – Big 4 Champions League Tournament at Penn Charter – This will feature an 8-team club championship tourney, with four Philly squads.
Sunday, Nov. 11 – The Big 4 Invitational Showcase at Shipley School – More than 125 players compete in an individual showcase, capped by an All-Star Game.
Sunday, Nov. 11 – Lehigh King of the Mountain Team Tournament at Lehigh University. This growing tourney features a 32-team, championship-style format for varsity. There is also a 16-team JV tourney and a 16-team Middle school tourney.
Friday, Nov. 16 – Philly Charity Showdown at PPL Park – Six games between youth, elite club and nationally-ranked high school teams will be played in an event that will raise money to benefit HelpHOPELive in honor of Conestoga Youth Lacrosse player Logan Schweiter. This will be the first time that high school-aged lacrosse players will play in the Union’s stadium and only the second time lacrosse games of any type for lacrosse there. Click here for schedule.
Saturday, Nov. 17 – Philly Boys Showcase at Episcopal Academy – This event will feature 460 of the top high school boys’ junior and sophomores from around the nation. Well over 100 college coaches are expected to attend and the day ends with two Fab Forty all-Star Games.
Sunday, Nov. 18 – Philly Boys Sr. Showcase and Philly Invitational at Episcopal Academy – Nearly 100 uncommitted seniors will be showcased and 36 of the top club and high school teams will compete. Most of those 100 or more coaches will be hanging around.
