Kristen Bandos had four goals and two assists and scored her 400th career point Monday to lead host Notre Dame to an 11-9 victory over Penn Charter in the quarterfinals of the PA State Independent Schools girls’ lacrosse tournament.
Second-seeded Notre Dame (19-2) advances to the semifinals today to host No. 3 Germantown Friends at 3:30 p.m. at Haverford Reserve.
Nora McCallion added three goals and an assist for the Irish.
Avery Shoemaker scored four goals for PC.
Germantown Friends School 18, Shipley 16
Iris Williamson had five goals, two assists, and five draw controls while Annie Morrissey had five goals and two assists and Annie Tyson scored four goals to lead the Phoenix to the victory. Shipley’s Sophie Katz and Avery Safford led scoring with four goals apiece.
Episcopal Academy 15, Agnes Irwin 5
Alexandra Silvera had three goals and an assist and Taryn Gallagher scored three goals while Lindsey Reder made 12 saves to lead top-seeded EA to the quarterfinal victory.
The Churchwomen (14-6) will host Germantown Academy today in the semifinals at 3:45 p.m.
Campbell Crochiere had three goals for Agnes Irwin.

Brooke Kiley led fourth-seeded GA with six goals and Caroline Haynie added three goals and four assists.
Ashley Tedesco scored four goals for Friends’ Central.
