Tucker Palmer log:

College Major: Political Science

Why did you choose Hood? “It was a combination of things – campus setting, size of school, proximity to Washington, D.C. and the commitment of Coach (Jeremy) Mattoon to develop a competitive lacrosse program.”

Reflections on the 2012 high school season:
“I was proud of the way that my team came together and performed all season long. We fell just short of winning the Pioneer Athletic Conference championship which is disappointing because that’s always the main goal of the Wildcat lacrosse program. I love all of the guys on the team and it was an honor to be coached by Coach Neese, Coach Ben, Coach Volpe, Coach Shields and Coach Haefer.”

Other comments: “Owen J. Roberts High School was a great place to go to school and to compete as an athlete. I came all of the way through both youth programs (NorChester Football and Coventry Lacrosse) and transitioned into the middle school and high school athletics programs which both have a strong tradition. I appreciate the history behind OJR football and lacrosse that are supported in large part by two excellent booster organizations, the Bucktown Boosters and the Wildcat Lacrosse Booster Club. I will take the positive experiences I had on the fields at Owen J. Roberts with me, everywhere I go.”
