What will you major in/study? Business and Economics
Why did you choose the school? “I was first attracted to it because of its academics. Then after I visited I discovered the beautiful campus and the great location. The Lacrosse team and the coaching staff, (Head Coach Jamie Steele and Assistant Coaches Gary Mercadante and David Paige), made me feel like I was already part of the team. It felt like the perfect fit for me heading into the future.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “We have a great coaching staff and a very balanced team, we will be a force in the Suburban One League and plan to go deep into the state playoffs.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank all of my youth coaches, coaches Downing and DeFazio, Coach Uhrich and especially Coach Joe Vitale for coaching us in the Keystone Games and for first teaching me face-offs. Thank You to my LB3 coaches, Kevin, J.P., (who also coached me in high school in 2011), and “Old Man” Banks for coaching me so well and really teaching me about the game. Thanks to my high school assistant coaches, Gauntlet Walker, Brandon Vogel and F/O Coach Josh Wilkocz. A big thanks to my Hatters head coaches, Dave Sowers and current coach John Kurek. Thanks to my brother Joey; thanks for the invaluable advice about lacrosse and face offs because I would not be where I am today without it. Finally, thanks to my parents for supporting me through the years, being so involved in all of my sports programs and pushing me to reach my full potential.”
