What will you major in/study?

Why did you choose the school? “As soon as I stepped on campus I knew that Elizabethtown College was the school I wanted to attend. I had this feeling in my gut! I knew I wanted to be there no matter what. I loved the small classes and the way the teachers were so supportive of the students on and off the field. They also have a wide variety of majors to choice from and with me being undecided this was a huge plus. As for the lacrosse team, I really like what Coach (Terry) Corcoran is doing with the program. He is raising the level of play with talented athletes with the goal of making the NCAA tournament in the very near future. I look forward to being a part of this.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season?
“We have a very promising year ahead of us. With new head Coach, Tom Slate, he brings many years of coaching experience to help boost the team. We have a number of starters returning from last year that will help with the game experience. We are looking to win the Ches-Monts again and make it farther into the district and state playoffs than we did last year.”

Other comments: “I’d like to thank my family for driving around to all of the different tournaments and college visits and being so supportive throughout the college process. I’d like to thank my Downingtown West coaching staff and team mates who helped improve my abilities over the year. I would also like to give a big thanks to Harry Sankey, the whole Sankey family and the Rebel family for being my mentors and helping to further my lacrosse career. Without the Sankeys I might be in a very different position right now.”

Other schools considered? Susquehanna, Clark, Vassar, Amherst and Bucknell.
