Howqell (N.J.) rising senior attackman Alec Dambach has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Chestnut Hill College.
Player name: Alec Dambach
High school: Howell High School
Graduation year: 2013
Position: Attack
College choice: Chestnut Hill College
Club affiliation: Team United Varsity Saints
Major lacrosse honors: New Jersey All-State Honorable Mention as a junior. Second team all-shore sophomore and junior year. Leading scorer and point leader freshman, sophomore, and junior year. Howell High School all time leading point leader in school history.
What will you major in/study: undecided
Why did you choose school: “I chose just Chestnut Hill because the atmosphere of the school and the lacrosse team as a whole was perfect. Also the location of the school was just what I was looking for being relatively close to home. Also coach (Michael) Terranova and (head coach Brian) Dougherty were great to me throughout the whole recruiting process and really made me feel comfortable and excited about my decision and the future of Chestnut Hill.”
Outlook for your high school team: “We will be a fairly young team with a group of seniors with a lot of experience. We are hoping to be one of the top teams in the Shore Conference next year.”
