Looking back at Under Armour Senior All-American Games: Philly players helped lead South to wins

Philly players excelled last Saturday at the Under Armour Senior All-America Games at Towson University.

Eight Philly boys were selected to play for the South team and two others, from the region played for the North. The South prevailed, 12-11, with key contributions by Philly players.

In the girls’ game, the South handled the North, 25-13with the help of four Philly girls and another from South Jersey.

Here is a rundown of the stats for Philly region players:

Boys – South 12, North 11
South players

Bradlee Lord (Conestoga – 1G, 1A, 1CT, 3GB

Sam Rohr (Haverford School) – 1G, 1CT

Miles Thomas (Conestoga) – 7GB, 3 CT

Connor Frisina (Conestoga) attackman

Ryan Guittare (Garnet Valley) – defenseman

Ryan Lehman (Garnet Valley) – defenseman

Jamie Ikeda (Conestoga) – defenseman

Will McNamara (Haverford School) – injured, DNP, but attended

North players
Walker Kirby (Lawrenceville School) – 1G, 1GB, 1CT

Steve Pontrello (St. Augustine Prep) – With USA U-19 tean, DNP
