Germantown Friends School Girls Lacrosse Camp: June 18-22, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Germantown Friends School Playing Fields. GFS lacrosse camp is an affordable way to improve your game and have fun at the same time. Open to girls of every skill level, beginners welcome.

The goal is to not only teach the skills necessary to excel but to impart a love of athletics and a thirst for excellence that will help young athletes in many future areas of their lives. The camp is led by GFS Varsity Lacrosse Coach Katie Bergstrom Mark, who has sent more than 25 athletes to play Division I or

Navy Youth Day Camp, Annapolis Md., ages 5 to 12, two sessions. The first session is June 18-19 and the second is June 20-21. Navy Elite Gold Camp, Annapolis, Md., for rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors, will be held June 21-23. This challenging camp is designed for the elite lacrosse player who aspires to play lacrosse in college. The sessions are intense, highly competitive, and emphasize high level techniques, skills and strategies. Evening sessions include full-field games. Goalie instruction will be offered. Main Line Youth Lacrosse Camp: June 25-29, 2012, Dittmar Park fields, Radnor Township.
For Boys and Girls entering 2nd thru 8th grades.

The Main Line Youth Lacrosse Camp offers an excellent opportunity for each player to learn and refine the necessary skills of lacrosse to enhance every player’s ability. This camp has been in existence since 1980. Many camp graduates have gone on to very successful high school and college careers.

Individualized instruction is provided in the areas of throwing, catching, cradling, scooping, dodging and checking. Team strategies are introduced all week long. Ample time is devoted to scrimmaging to put the skills into practice. Students will be instructed by high school and college players along with established coaches from the area.

Navy Open Blue Camp, Annapolis, Md., July 5-7, for rising seventh, eighth and ninth-graders. This camp is designed for players of all ability levels. There is a strong emphasis on mastering skills as well as moving on to more advanced parts of the game. Sessions will focus on individual skills, team concepts and full field play. Showcase/Recruiting Camps

Lightning Lacrosse Elite, a national leader in girls’ recruiting events, is running a girls’ recruiting camp from July 9-12 at Gettysburg College. The camp is open to rising sophomores to uncommitted rising seniors who want to showcase their skills in front of an array of top collegiate coaches. Players stay in the dorms and eat on campus. Coaches from the following schools will be coaching and evaluating at the camp: Gettysburg College, Notre Dame Univ., John Hopkins Univ., Cortland State, Salisbury State, Yale Univ., Harwick College, Ithaca College, Amherst College, York College, Elizabethtown Univ., Haverford College, Trinity College, Adrian College, Messiah College and Washington College

Camp Curriculum: The college coaches are the staff at the camp. Each morning there will be a skill clinic accompanied by short skill drills. Each session features a team game that are coached by the college coaches. Each player will be put on a team and play with that team throughout camp and a camp champion will be crowned on the last day of camp.
Recruiting Seminar: There is a recruiting seminar being run by the Lightning Lacrosse Elite staff and select college coaches which is open to players and parents. The seminar will be held right after check in on Monday, July 9th.

Philly Girls Showcase Camp, July 17-19, at Haverford College, open to players in the graduating classes of 2013, 2014, and 2015. The Camp will be directed by Karin Brower Corbett, Head Coach at Pennsylvania, and co-directed and hosted by Lauren Wray, Head Coach at Haverford College. The Camp will also feature educational seminars off the field on topics including the college recruitment process, NCAA rules, strength training, and nutrition.
