Today’s Haverford School-St. Paul’s game to be broadcast on Baltimore site

The lacrosse season has begun – and today the “Game of the Week” kicks off with a broadcast of Haverford School hosting St. Paul’s School (Md.).

The game begins at 4:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on (then go to Game of the Week) late Tuesday or early Wednesday.

The game today between Haverford School (0-0) and St Paul’s (1-0) and matches up two coaches that are close friends from their days as teammates at Washington College – Fords coach John Nostrant and St. Paul’s mentor Rick Brocato.

Nostrant’s club got the better of the Crusaders last year, 10-9, on its way to a perfect 23-0 season and a national championship. Haverford is ranked No. 2 in the ESPNHS POWERADE FAB 50 poll and No. 5 in the Under Armour/Inside Lacrosse Power Rankings.

The Crusaders – who opened last week with an 8-7 OT win over cape Henry Collegiate – are ranked No. 20 by ESPNHS.

Announcers for the game are Radnor graduate Booker Corrigan and Ty Xanders of Inside Lacrosse.

The Fords will again be on the Game of the Week March 20 when they play at Loyola Blakefield. And on March 23, Conestoga hits the airwaves when it travels to Calvert Hall, currently ranked No. 1 in every poll released. ‘Game of the Week’ – First Month’s Schedule
