Girls’ lacrosse: Great Valley outscores Radnor, 21-17, in battle of top-rated teams

Emily Scullin had five goals and two assists and Ali Karwoski scored four as host Great Valley outscored Radnor, 21-17, in a girls’ lacrosse contest between two teams ranked high in the PA Media Rankings.

The Patriots – ranked No. 2 – improved to 4-0, while dropping the fourth-ranked Red Raiders to 3-1.

The game went- back-and-forth through the first half until Patriots scored three of the final goals of the half to take a 13-11 lead.

Radnor never got closer than two goals in the second half.

Taryn Deck led the Raiders with five goals and Libby Lowry added four goals and three assists.
