It’s been a good five weeks for Boyertown senior goalie Austin Mutter.
Last month he committed to play Division III lacrosse at Eastern University, a local program on the rise.
And tonight Mutter became the first winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods $50 Gift Certificate Trivia Contest, as tweeted by Phillylacrosse.com (@phillylacrosse).
Mutter was the first to answer tonight’s question of when the first four years Philadelphia hosted the NCAA Men’s Division I championship game. the years were 1973 (at Penn’s Franklin Field, won by Maryland); 1992 (Penn, won by Princeton), 2005 (at Lincoln Financial Field, won by Johns Hopkins) and 2006 (at the Linc, won by Virginia).
Of course, Philly’s Drexel University is hosting the event in 2013 at the Linc.
The second to answer was Collegeville’s Dawson Bragg (Spring-Ford grad, current Kutztown NCLL player) and Downingtown’s Lucas Iacovino was third.
Our next contest will be held next Tuesday – so be ready and follow us on Twitter (https://twitter.com/phillylacrosse) to be eligible!
