The Duke’s Triple H Lacrosse Club is expanding to include a middle school U-13 team in addition to the current U-15 team.

The selection for Duke’s HHH will follow in the tradition of Duke’s LC. Coaches will evaluate the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders during the Fall Skill Development and Evaluation Clinics taking place at the Shipley School’s main campus turf fields on 9/23/12, 9/30/12, and 10/7/12 from 2 – 4 PM.

Players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills during the tryouts taking place on 10/14/12 at Abington’s Huntingdon Road Field. More info can be found at:

The Duke’s LC is talent-based, not aged based at each level. A player that displays the skills to play against older competition will get that opportunity. For example, a standout player that is 13 years old, will have the opportunity to play with the Duke’s HHH U-15 team.

The players selected for the U-13 and U-15 teams will practice year-round on a weekly basis (Sunday afternoons), and participate in tournaments. The practices allow the best players in the area to consistently compete against each other under the guidance of experienced full-time coaches.

The primary focus of the U-15 Duke’s HHH team is to compete for the U-15 National Championship being held at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports complex in Disney World.

Duke’s HHH LC helps players reach their potential. The inaugural 2011 Duke’s HHH U-15 team had 22 players graduating in the class of 2015. Eighteen of those players played for their high school’s varsity team as freshman.

The U-13 and U-15 teams will be coached by:
