Unionville junior midfield-attack Finley Sutton has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Denver.

Why did you choose Denver? “I chose Denver because it is in a beautiful location between the city and the mountains. Also, the coaches are incredible and I see the team going far in the next few years. I love how the school is unified through the men’s ice hockey team and how much respect and attention the lacrosse programs receive from the community. When I left campus all I wanted to do was go back.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “This next season will be a growing year for our team. We lost a lot of seniors, but we still have strong leaders and many talented sophomores who will be joining varsity.”
Additional comments: “I want to thank my club and school coaches, who have tolerated me being a goofball but also pushed me to work hard. Also I want to thank my club teammates for welcoming me onto the team and quickly becoming some of my best friends. I’m especially thankful for my parents who have helped me so much through the recruiting process and dealt with months of my stress.”
