National Letter of Intent week: Hatboro-Horsham’s Murphy signs with Marist

Hatboro-Horsham midfielder Jimmy Murphy has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division I lacrosse at Marist College.

Murphy was a First team All-Suburban one American conference pick last year in leading the Hatters (18-4) to a share of the conference title and a berth in the District 1 quarterfinals.Murphy was the Hatters’ leading scorer with 45 goals and 11 assists and was named Offensive MVP. He was selected to the 2012 All-Intelligence First Team and the 2012 Suburban One Continental Conference First Team. This past summer, Murphy helped Team Philly win its first Under Armour Underclassmen Games Championship.

Murphy plays for the Dukes Lacrosse Club and also played for the Bandits.
