National Letter of Intent Signing: Villanova inks two at McDonogh (Md.)

Villanova University’s men’s team added two key recruits Wednesday when McDonogh School (Md.) had four players sign National Letters of Intent to open the early signing period.

McDonogh School’s Austin Frederick (Villanova), Hil Blaze (Furman), Danny Sweeney (Villanova) and Nick Doyle (Ohio State) signed Letters of Intent on Wednesday.

Austin Frederick and Danny Sweeney were joined by Hil Blaze and Nick Doyle in the signing.

Frederick is an attackman/midfielder and Sweeney is a defenseman/LSM. Blaze, a face-off specialist/defensive midfielder, signed with Furman and Doyle, a goalie, signed with Ohio State.
