Maple Zone boys’ recruit: Penncrest senior midfielder Mingey commits to Albright

Penncrest senior midfielder Sean Mingey has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Albright College.

Major lacrosse honors: Delco Keystone Games champions, 2012; Honorable Mention All-Delco, 2011

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose the school? “I really liked coach (Jake) Plunket and the guys on the team made me feel really welcome. I also like the location, being an hour away. They had a very successful first year (16-3, reached division finals).”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “We want to win the Central League championship. We need everyone to step up and the seniors need to lead.”

Other comments: “I want to thank my parents and family, coach (Harry) Sankey (Rebel Elite) and coach (Wayne) Matsinger (Penncrest).”
