Early player registration has begun for Brine National All Star Academy for Middle School boys, girls

Early Player Registration for the 2013 Brine National All Star Lacrosse Academy is now open to middle school boys and girls presently in grades 6-8.

The boys’ Academy is directed by Ron Caputo, Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach, Duke University. The girls’ Academy is directed by Kristen Waagbo, Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach, Duke University. The 2013 Brine National All Star Lacrosse Academy is a collection of the top middle school girls’ and boys’ players in the nation.

The Academy features top-notching instruction and a tournament featuring top regional squads. Last year’s Philly girls’ team, for the second straight year, won the team tournament, held at Boyds, Md. (see article).

Players can qualify for selection to the Academy by attending regional tryouts conducted throughout the country.

Next year’s Academy and tournament will be held at the Maryland Sportsplex during this time frame, from June 30-July 3.
