Maple Zone boys’ recruit: Downingtown West senior midfielder Sauder commits to Widener

Downingtown West senior midfielder Sean Sauder has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

Major lacrosse honors: Blue Chip 225 All-Star, Maryland Lacrosse Showcase All-Star

What will you major in/study? Pre-Law

Why did you choose Widener? “Widener is a great school with a great law program. Coach (Brendan) Dawson is serious about putting together a top Division III team and I look forward to being a part of it and making an impact right away.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “Another great year. We lost a lot of seniors but we are going to have another large senior class. With new head coach Tom Slate we look to make another run in the state playoffs.”
