Why did you choose Chestnut Hill College? “I’ve known Coach (Brian Dougherty) Doc since I was in sixth grade. Throughout my career I have looked up to him as a role model and mentor. When I found out he was Head Coach of Chestnut Hill I was instantly interested in playing for him. He is a great coach and has taken big steps forward in little time. I see Chestnut Hill going far in DII Lacrosse in the near future. When I went on my overnight I didn’t feel like a recruit I felt like I was already a part of the team and school.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “We are always looking for the #1 goal of any team, a State Championship. With a large part of our starters returning, and a talented group of kids replacing the seniors, I think this is our year.”
Other schools considered? Robert Morris, Salisbury, Le Moyne, Manhattan, Limestone, Cabrini
Other comments: “First I would like to thank my parents, family, and friends for being there every step of the way. I want to thank the Ridley coaching staff, Kevin Ellers, Chris Crooks, Doug Ellers, Jeff Murray, Steve Hill, Scotty Burkheimer, Steve Naumowich, Andrew Hunt, Sean Kelley, Dave Simcox, and Matt Flynn; also Coach (Brian) Dougherty’s Goalie School and Bill Pilat’s Goalie School for my success so far. Finally, I thank my HEADstrong coaches, Mike Colleluori, Brian Neary, Steve Lane, Eddie DiDonato, and the Colleluori family.”
