Delbarton (N.J.) junior midfielder J.P. Campbell has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.

What will you major in/study? Business
Why did you choose the school? “I chose Villanova because I felt like it was a great academic fit for what I want to pursue in my future. When I first stepped on campus I felt at home, and I knew it was the right place for me. With regards to lacrosse, I know the team has a reputation of having dedicated and hard-working players, and I couldn’t have asked for a better coaching staff.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “I feel that we have great potential for next year. We have a lot of key returning players, so it’s a matter of putting in the hard work before and during the season to reach our goals.”
Other comments: “I want to thank my family, especially my mom and dad, for all the support they have given me throughout this process. I would also like to thank Coach Ruebling, Coach Kovachik, and Coach Carty for the assistance they have provided throughout my career.
