Rye (N.Y.) midfielder Chris Santangelo has made a commitment to the admissions process at the University of Pennsylvania.

Why did you choose the school? “I chose Penn because it offers a high level of lacrosse as well as academics. I also Chose Penn because of the opportunity to go to school in a city as great as Philadelphia.”
Outlook for 2013 HS season: “Win a Regional title and a Section Championship.”
Other schools considered: Harvard, Colgate, Union, Michigan, and Georgetown.
