Tryouts

Fever Lacrosse Tryouts, for next summer, Sept. 9 at (2013). 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams. Three grade level tournaments. There will be 10 practices over the summer to gear up for tournaments. The practices focus on team and individual skill development. All information and registration on www.LacrosseFever.com

HEADstrong Lacrosse Club tryouts for 2013 Summer and Fall Teams. Tryouts will be held at the Widener University Athletic Complex and are open to all lacrosse players graduating in 2014, 2015, 2016. A try-out fee of $40.00 is required per player and is due at Tryout 1 Registration. All major credit cards will be accepted as well as checks made out to the HEADstrong Lacrosse Club.
HEADstrong 2016 Tryout Schedule: Open Tryout 1: Sunday, September 9; Widener University Leslie Quick Stadium/Edith Dixon Field; Registration begins at 7:45am; Tryouts begin promptly at 8:45am until 10:45am

Leagues

Haverford School Fall Boys Lacrosse League, begins September 16, ALERT! – Registration will close on August 20. Divisions for High School A, High School B and Middle School (at Shipley) teams in three locations: The Haverford School, Germantown Academy and Shipley School. Sunday games. High school A, High school B and Middle School divisions. Six games, no play-offs. Full field 10 v 10 games. Games are two – 24 minute halves. Teams must provide their own jerseys. Fall Brawl Lax League, Moorestown, NJ, for boys Grades 3 to HS Varsity,Sunday, September 16- Nov. 4. Site- William Allen Middle School fields. Fall Brawl Lax League has two ways of registering to play, as a team or an individual. If your town or program does not have enough players to enter an entire team, partial teams and individual players will be assigned to a team and placed on the grade or high school level appropriate roster. All teams and individual players must register online. Divisions are Grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, HS JV and HS Varsity. All players must be members of US Lacrosse. Penncrest Endless Summer Lacrosse Tournament, Sponsored by Penncrest Lions Boosters. Date: Saturday, October 13, Location: Penncrest High, Times: 9AM – 5PM. Tournament Format: 4 games guaranteed, Games are 2 x 22 minute running halves, Start at 9AM and finish at 5PM, 18 player minimum roster; teams should supply their own pinnies, 2 levels of play: A & B, PIAA Referees, On-site trainer, Teams Signed up by September 17 receive T-Shirts for all participants. Registration Fee: $500. To hold your team’s entry, please forward a non-refundable deposit of $50. After team deposit is received, complete registration details will be forwarded. Camps

Black Bear summer lacrosse camps for boys and girls aged 4 to 15. Campers should sign up quickly as slots fill up fast. Click here to register.

In addition to the fundamentals program, which is designed to introduce the game of lacrosse to beginning and intermediate level players, Black Bear camps provide advanced technique and training for experienced players. Black Bear campers will enjoy daily scrimmages, instructional sessions, contests, and daily personal interaction with the coaches. Players of all abilities and experience are welcome.

World Champ Camp: by Baggataway Lacrosse. A youth day camp at Plymouth Whitemarsh HS Victory Fields will be the setting for the second year of the highly successful World Champ Camp. Boys in Grade K-6 can come out for four days of learning and fun from 9am-2pm.

This summer there will be two sessions available for registration: Session 2 – August 6-10. Both camps will be directed by Brian “Doc” Dougherty Goalie for the 2010 Team USA. Players work on fundamental aspects of the game during the morning and play in games in the afternoon. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from a World Champion.
