Urbana (MD) rising junior attackman Plante has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.

Major lacrosse honors: Freestate team member, 205 All-Star, Reebok National team and All-Conference honors
Academic Honors: Minds in Motion, Honor Roll and National Honor Society Candidate
What will you major in/study? Business/Economics
Why did you choose Lehigh? “Lehigh was a perfect fit both academically and athletically. Coach (Kevin) Cassese and Coach (Brendan) Callahan made me feel very comfortable and I felt a part of the Lehigh family right away. I have great respect for Coach Cassese and his staff and it was an honor for me to be selected in their 2014 class.”
Outlook for 2013 HS season? “After graduating 19 seniors, we will return only two starters including myself. In addition to that we will also have an entirely new coaching staff. I look forward to doing everything I can to assist my team in our goal to win a state title.”
Other schools considered: Denver, Towson, Marist, Jacksonville, Villanova, Bucknell and Sacred Heart
