Maple Zone boys’ recruit: Salesianum School rising senior defenseman Cowan commits to Colgate

Salesianum School (DE) rising senior defenseman Chase Cowan has made a verbal commitment to play Division lacrosse at Colgate University.

Major lacrosse honors: All-State third team, member of state championship squad, Southern State Elite Camp All-Star in 2011

Academic honors: 1st or 2nd honors since freshman year

What will you major in/study?
Political science or economics

Why did you choose the school? “As soon as I walked on campus, I knew it was for me. It’s the perfect size and their athletics are obviously outstanding. The location is right where I want it to be; it’s not too close to home but not so far.”
