Maple Zone boys’ recruit: Haverford High rising junior midfielder Leyden commits to Penn State

Haverford High rising junior midfielder Kevin Leyden has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Penn state University.

Major lacrosse honors:
Second Team All-Central, Under Armour Underclassmen Games, 2012, scored 55 goals in 2012

What will you major in/study? Leaning toward Business

Why did you choose the school? “I chose Penn state because of the coaching staff and how good the recruiting class is going to be and how much I like the school. I think they have been successful.”

Outlook for HS team next year:“I expect us to make the playoff next year and make a run in the (District 1) tourney.”
