Boys’ youth lacrosse: Crooked Crosse A1 wins U15A title at Liberty Lacrosse Shootout

The Crooked Crosse A1 team won the Liberty Lacrosse Shootout this past weekend in the U15A division. The team was undefeated and had victories against the Central PA Dawgs, Ashbee, Great Valley, Jags Lacrosse, and Rose Tree Optimists to reach the title game, where Crooked Crosse defeated the South Jersey Black Storm select team.

The Liberty Lacrosse Shootout championship and recent SEPYLA A1 championship capped a year in which Crooked Crosse finished with a record of 34-0-1.

“Liberty runs a great tournament. A lot of effort went into creating brackets that were competitive and many of the games were close,” said Coach Brian Wall.”Congratulations to all the teams for playing their hearts out on a hot day.

“Our team did a real nice job of focusing on each game to be successful. It became pretty clear to our coaches that the boys wanted to finish their time at Crooked Crosse with an undefeated season and were willing to sacrifice to make that happen. We are so proud of their accomplishment and look forward to seeing many of them play at Upper Dublin High School in the years ahead.”
