Chris Goldberg is here at Harriton High where District 12 champion La Salle (18-4) and District 1 third-place finisher Downingtown West (22-1) are playing in a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) quarterfinal.

The weather is partly sunny and there is a nice crowd. Today’s winner faces the winner of Shade Side Academy and Mt. Lebanon, both of District 7

    West has a good team…..but they need to play a more challenging schedule to prep for post-season. I am a downingtown alum/former player and its sad that DW is playing cupcakes, rather then taking it on the chin and “getting better” by playing quality teams. That said awesome season, but Hanum and the AD need to schedule a couple legit teams (Ridley is good, but they are in the same boat). Comes down to…..to be the man, you have to beat the man.
