Phillylacrosse.com Editor Chris Goldberg will be blogging live tonight at the Inter-Ac Invitational semifinals at Cabrini College.
The action begins at 5 p.m. when top-seeded and three-time defending champion Haverford School (20-1) meets fourth-seeded Malvern Prep (8-9). The two teams met in last year’s finale as the Fords capped a perfect season by scoring twice in the final 36 seconds to take a 5-4 victory.
The other semifinal will feature second-seeded Episcopal Academy (16-5) and third-seeded Lawrenceville School (17-3).
The championship game will be played Thursday at Cabrini at 7 p.m.
Inter-Ac officials said the games will be played tonight unless there is lightning. The Cabrini field is a turf stadium.
