Wednesday’s girls’ roundup: Sophomore Dahle scores 100th career goal to lead Friends’ Central; GA, CBW claim 1-goal wins

Sophomore Emma Dahle scored six goals – including the 100th of her career – and added four draw controls to lead Friends’ Central to a 14-8 victory over host Springside School Wednesday in non-league girls’ lacrosse.

The win raised the Phoenix to 7-1 overall.

Ashley Tedesco added two goals, four assists and four draw controls for Friends’ Central while Becca Dahle added seven assists, four caused turnovers and two draw controls.

Germantown Academy 15, Villa Maria Academy 14

Caroline Haynie had five goals and an an assist while Brooke Kiley collected three goals and four assists for GA.

Megan Parsons had five goals and an assist for VMA while Catherine Bendinelli had four goals and an assist.

Central Bucks West 12, Wissahickon 11

Tara Shugars led West with four goals and an assist in the non-league game.

Laura Frankenfield had four goals and three assists for Wissahickon.

Upper Dublin 15, Upper Merion 1

Brooke Callahan had three goals and three assists to lead a balanced attack for Upper Dublin.

Council Rock North 19, Archbishop Wood 9

Kara Magley (7g), Hannah Plappert (6g, 3a), and Natalie Maher (6g, 2a) combined for all 19 goals for the Indians.

Alyssa Andress led Wood with three goals and two assists.

Boyertown 18, Pottstown 10

Amanda Smith had three goals and an assist while Kate Dehaven scored three more to pace Boyertown in the PAC-10 win.

Milan White paced Pottstown with six goals and an assist.

Girls High 14, Delaware Valley 2

Tenee Pina had four goals and an assist for Girls’ High.

Moorestown 19, Cinnaminson 1

The Quakers coasted as Marie McCool had three goals and four assists.
