Last Year’s Record/Accomplishments: 9-9 Pac-10 Final Four, District Tournament- knocked out by Harriton in the 1st round

Outlook for 2012: “This will be a growing year. We graduated 13 seniors last year and we only have 3 on the squad this year.”

Pottsgrove High School

Coach: Kirstin Mayberry, 1st season

2011 Record: 4-13 Overall, 2-11 PAC – 10

Players to Watch: Rachelle Mewshaw, Midfield; Rebecca Dolenti, Attack; Cierra Walton, Defense; Jade Mark, Midfield; Lindsay Weaver, Goalie

Coaches Comments: “The 2012 season will be a rebuilding year for the team. We have a very young team, with only 4 returning seniors. We are looking for their leadership to help guide and develop the team. Our strongest asset will be our midfielders, they are a talented group of girls with strong stick skills and have the ability to read the field.”

Owen J. Roberts

Coach: Amy Stone (first season); staff includes top assistant Lynne Elphick, Clarence Jennelle, Tony Montes (goalie coach)

2011 Record: 3-14 overall, 3-10 PAC-10

Coach’s comments: “Our new coaching staff is enthusiastic to work together to develop a strong lacrosse program. We hope our athletes find success this season through hard work, communication and cooperation.”
