Boys’ lacrosse wrap: EA, Chestnut Hill win; Malvern Prep falls to St. Mary’s Annapolis

Morgan Westby poured in six goals as Episcopal Academy coasted to a 15-2 win over Shipley School today in non-league boys’ lacrosse.

EA (2-0) avenged a loss to the Gators (0-1) in last year’s Inter-Ac Invitational.

Tyler Odell added three goals and Dutch Buckley had two goals while Trup Ortlieb added a goal and three assists for the Churchmen. Henry Coote (five saves) and Tyler Morrell (three saves) shared the win in goal.

Mike Litner scored twice for the Gators and Ian McGibbon made 14 saves.

Despite winning 15 of 20 face-offs, the Friars fell to 0-2 with the loss at St. Mary’s.

Malvern Prep had a whopping 13 unforced turnovers and committed over 20 turnovers.
