Bernardini netted three goals and four assists on Sunday to help lead Old Dominion to a 14-12 comeback win over Louisville to open the 2012 season. Bernardini’s four assists on the day ties her with Caroline Jacobs for second on the all-time career assists list at ODU with 55.

Her seven points were the most by a player on either team, as the Lady Monarchs beat Louisville for the first time in program history. She was one of seven Old Dominion players to score on the afternoon.
