Eastern Regional High School senior midfielder Alexander Haubrich has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Stevens Institute of Technology.

What will you major in/study? Engineering
Why did you choose Stevens? “Immediately upon my first visit to Stevens, the coaching staff and players amiably welcomed me onto their team. I knew that I wanted to be part of such a special program moving in the right direction under the leadership of Coach (Gene) Peluso. Additionally, Stevens is a great learning institution with a paramount engineering school offering majors in many different engineering disciplines.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for this year? “With a strong core of seniors and returning underclassmen, we have high expectations for ourselves. We look forward to building on our successes from last year, and advancing farther into the group 4 state playoffs.”
Additional comments: “I would like to thank both my parents for all the support, time, and guidance they have provided through the college selection and recruiting process. Also I would like to thank my coaches, Coach Mike, Coach Keane, Coach Chad, and Coach Picot for their guidance and giving me the opportunity to develop into the lacrosse player I am today. And lastly, I would like to thank my all my teammates from high school and summer lacrosse teams. Also I would like to give a big thanks to Lee Collision, you never forget a great first coach and he really set up the fundamentals to my game.”
