Youth divisional winners are crowned in NXT Philadelphia Indoor Lacrosse Championships

Divisional champions were crowned Sunday in the inaugural NXT Philadelphia Indoor Lacrosse Championships.

Episcopal Academy won the Class A crown in the 7th/8th Grade Division at the PILC

7TH/8TH Grade Group A

In the 7th/8th Grade Group A, the Episcopal Academy middle school team avenged an earlier loss to defeat Leading Edge 2015 (Far Hills. NJ), 26-16, in the group championship game. The final was far tighter than the score indicates. EA was coached by Andy Hayes.

The other competitors in Group A were BZ Elite Maroon (Reading) and Stoga 7 (Conestoga Youth Lax).

7TH/8TH Grade Group B

The Wet Bandits lacrosse club, led by coach Colin Ambler, went a perfect 4-0 in Group B play to take the trophy home.

The other participants in Group B were Leading Edge 2016 (Far Hills, NJ), Great Valley U15, BZ Elite White (Reading), and Ashbee Lacrosse Club.

5TH/6TH Grade Group C

Leading Edge 2017 (Far Hills, NJ) brought a strong group of 6th graders to the tournament and take the Group C trophy back to North Jersey after going undefeated at 4-0 in Group C play.

The other participants in group were Stoga 6 (Conestoga Youth Lax), and BZ Elite 5/6 (Reading).
