The Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) are hoping to raise awareness and funds to support pediatric cancer research when they host the Buffalo Bandits at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The team, partnering with the Four Diamonds Fund for this special night, will wear pink jerseys for the game and then sell them via post-game auction at the AT&T Pavilion inside the Wells Fargo Center. All proceeds from sales of the jerseys will benefit the Four Diamonds Fund.

“We are very excited about partnering with the Four Diamonds Fund this year,” said Wings owner Michael French. “Our pink helmet auction was very successful last year and we hope to raise even more money with the jerseys this weekend.”

The Four Diamonds Fund contributes to the care provided to children with cancer at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital by funding many of the health professionals who provide direct care. It takes a team of individuals to meet the complex needs of patients and their families. The Four Diamonds Fund, the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital has developed a strong team of professionals to provide care and support during the struggle of the diagnosis and treatment of children with cancer.
