Live updates on ESPN RISE Warrior 40 scrimmage at Harvard Stadium:

Coaches here from Duke, Notre Dame, Penn, Cornell, among others

Perfect day, 80 degrees, sunny with breeze

Philly’s Sam Rohr (Haverford School, midfielder), Ryan Ambler (Abington, attackman), and Eddie Morris (Malvern Prep) were starting for Blue team. Chris Panechelli (Bishop Shanahan, defenseman) and Tyler Brooke (Conestoga, attackman) starting for the Orange. Defenseman Justin Verratti (Salesianum School, DE) is also on the Blue roster.

Blue goalie Greg Stamatov (Foxborough, Mass/Villanova) made an amazing end-to-end rush to score the first goal of the game for the Blue.

Orange leads 4-3 at end of first period

Eddie Morris with clear and a shot, just missed; Panichelli and Morris making plays.

Orange leads, 6-4, 6:41 left in quarter; Rohr is 4 for 6 at face-off X

Rohr clears it and scores; draws Blue within 6-5

Orange takes 7-6 lead at halftime. Stamatov played well all around; good looking prospect for coach Michael Corrado at villanova

Orange leads 9-7 in third period as Matt Chanenchuk (St. Anthony’s, NY/Navy) scores

Patric Berkery (Garden City, NY/Penn) scores for Orange on a nifty 1-on-1. Orange now leads, 11-7, with 4:32 to go in period.

Orange leads, 11-8, after three periods.

Rohr makes interception and soon score to make it 11-9

Conestoga’s Brooke scores from X, makes it 12-9 Orange with 12:18 to go

Blue pulls within 12-10 as Charlie Schnider (Landon School, MD) scores

Orange now trails, 13-11 late in game; Rohr wins two more face-offs

Final: Orange 13, Blue 12

Garden City rising senior attackman Sean McDonagh (Harvard) of Orange is named the Offensive MVP for scoring five goals

Rising junior pole Mackenzie Pons (Maryland) of Boys’ Latin (Md.) is named defensive MVP for Orange.
