Team Philly finished its Pool Play at 2-2 in the Under Armour Underclassmen Games today at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium by routing the West, 17-7.

Philly had opened the day by bowing to Long Island, 19-8. Long Island and Washington D.C. are on target to earn the two Yellow Division playoff berths, meaning Philly would not advance to Sunday’s third day of action. D.C. defeated Long Island, 14-7, to move to 3-0 and all but clinch a playoff berth. Long Island (2-1) needs only to down the Midwest (1-2) Sunday morning to clinch the second spot in the Yellow Division.

Philly’s 17-7 win was sparked by Devon Schneider (Manheim Township), AnnaElise Morello (Garnet Valley) and Olivia Gannon (Mount St. Joseph) on offense as well as Lexi Mazur (Strath Haven) and Hannah Wilcox (Peters Township, PA) on defense and Kelly Cross (Upper Dublin) on draws.
