Two-time defending champion Team Harley falls in finals of Florida Lacrosse Classic

Team Harley was denied in its attempt at a third straight “A” Division Grand Master’s championship today at the 10th annual Florida Lacrosse Classic in Ft. Lauderdale.

The Philly-based squad (seeded No. 1) was defeated by Elder Statesmen, 9-6, in the Warrior Division finals. The Elder Statesmen came in as the No. 5 seed.

Meanwhile, in the fifth-place consolation, Philly-based Team HEADstrong toppled Patriot Lacrosse, 13-10.

In the Half Century Division, the Philly-based Grey Eagles fell to the Grey peaks, 13-11, in the 12th-place consolation game. Team HEADstrong went 3-1 overall.
