Tom Perini pumped in eight goals and freshman goalie Andrijko Andrusko (Holy Ghost Prep) made 14 saves to help Lafayette dump host Wagner, 16-8, today in men’s non-conference lacrosse at Staten Island, N.Y.
Wagner (0-3) got four goals and an assist from sophomore attackman Cody Isdaner (Episcopal Academy), has 10 goals already this year.
The Leopards (2-1) also got three groundballs from Rob FitzPatrick (Episcopal Academy) and one groundball from Andrew Fullen (Penn Charter).
James Cuzzupe (Archbishop Carroll) added a groundball for Wagner.
Cornell 13, Binghamton 4
Sophomore defenseman Mike Bronzino (Conestoga) had two assists and seven groundballs and the No. 6 Big Red (2-0) went to a 13-0 halftime lead before coasting to the win.
Colgate 14, Robert Morris 12
Andrew Mould (Hill School) had two goals for Colgate (2-2). Freshman Tyler Rankel (Downingtown West) had a groundball and a caused turnover for Robert Morris (1-3).
Fairfield 7, Quinnipiac 5
Jack Oppenheimer (Germantown Academy) had a goal and an assist for Quinnipiac (0-2).
Neumann 13, Stockton State 12, OT
Mike Pantelone scored 17 seconds into overtime to give Neumann (1-1) a come-from-behind win over Richard Stockton.
Pantelone finished with five goals in the game. Justin Mailloux added four goals and an assist. Sam Maldou (Sun Valley) notched two goals and four helpers. Mark Consolo (Spring-Ford) had two goals and an assist and Rich Louis dished out two assists.
Ryan Davis (St. Mark’s, DE) played the second half in net for the Knights and made nine saves to pick up the win. Andrew Neubauer (Cardinal O’Hara) started the game in goal and made six saves in the first half.
Scranton 12, Farmingdale State 6
Ben Worthington (Archbishop Wood) had five first-half saves to gain the win while junior attacker Daniel Slade (Central Bucks East) finished with two goals and an assist as the Royals moved to 2-0 on the season for the second straight year.
Scranton, which held a 44-32 edge in shots and a 49-44 advantage in ground balls, also received two goals from sophomore attacker Taylor Nelson (Downingtown East), a goal and an assist from senior attacker Sean Coleman (Roman Catholic) and a goal from junior midfielder Mike Rufo (Haverford School).
