Many of the top Philly boys’ club teams will compete this weekend in the annual Tri-State National Summer Lacrosse Festival at Mercer County Park, N.J.
The three-day tourney opens Friday and features more than 300 teams in nine age classes.
The Class AA High School Division will feature 26 teams, including Duke’s Lacrosse Club I and II and Mesa Fresh 2012 as well as West Chester-based Man Up Lacrosse.
The intriguing battle could occur Saturday when Duke’s I meets Mesa Fresh 2012 at 1:20 p.m. on Field 5.
The field also has top teams form the Northeast, including Long Island teams For the Love of the Game, Long Island Express, Ward Melville and Sting Black and Gold as well as host Tri-State, Virginia’s MadLax and Boston’s Top Gun Fighting Clams.
The Senior A class includes the Wet Bandits, Team Philly Elite and Low and Away of Central PA in its 36-team field. The Senior B field has Team Philly North and South squads.
