Saturday’s high school roundup: Archbishop Ryan boys earn Catholic League’s No. 3 seed, Jenkintown girls roll

Tim Taylor scored six goals and added one assist while Kevin Nelms contributed three goals and five assists and Pat Haslebarth had three goals and four assists to lead host Archbishop Ryan to a 15-7 conquest of Roman Catholic Saturday in Catholic League boys’ lacrosse.

The Raiders (10-7 overall) wrapped up third place in the league with an 8-2 mark.

Emma Dillon had three goals, four assists and seven caused turnovers while Tori Contoudis (two assists) and Courtney Smith (one assist) each had three goals to lead the Drakes past the Lions in their season finale.

Jenkintown finished 12-5 overall and 6-2 in the Bicentennial League (second place).
