Three Philly college freshmen – Duke’s Taylor Trimble (Episcopal Academy), Princeton’s Annie Woehling (Radnor) and Penn’s Joe McCallion (Haverford School) – were recognized by Lacrosse Magazine online at laxmagazine.com as players expected to make immediate impacts on their teams.
Trimble – a three-time US Lacrosse All-American and an Under Armour Senior All-American midfielder – was the Phillylacrosse.com Co-Player of the Year in leading EA to the Inter-Ac League championship. Trimble was a captain this summer for the US U19 team that won the Federation of International World Championship at Hannover, Germany.
