“We return an experienced attack led by Senior, Colin Joka (60 goals last year) and we are fortunate to have Junior goalie, Andrew Sabia transfer in from Roman Catholic. Sabia was a 1st Team All League Goalie in the Catholic League. We hope to continue to be successful in the face-off circle as we return Senior Gyphin Kelly who has dominated face-offs. Overall, we have a hard working group of young men who have a great attitude and passion for the game. Last year, we were one game away from winning a share of the league title and we were fortunate enough to qualify for the District-One playoffs. This year, we hope to once again qualify for the playoffs and compete for the league title.”

Coach’s outlook for 2011 season: “Even though the Class of 2010 saw some of the most talented players to ever wear a Vikings lacrosse uniform graduate, the 2011 season has a great deal of promise. The players moving into the starting roles have fully embraced working as hard as they possibly can to learn the game, plan and execute it well. Their athletic talents and lacrosse skills are strong and the coaching staff looks forward to watching them grow into another strong Vikings lacrosse squad.”
