The Haverford School, ranked No.1 in the nation all season, was unanimously awarded the top seed and will receive a first-round bye in the 3rd Inter-Ac Invitational.
The Fords (20-0), along with Malvern Prep (#2), Germantown Academy (#3) and Maryland’s Bullis School (#5) got first-round byes. Due to a pre-tournament scheduling conflict, Bullis was awarded an automatic first round bye.
The Opening Round will face off at 10 AM Saturday at Episcopal Academy as #8 Peddie School takes on #9 Hill School. The second game features #4 Lawrenceville vs. #12 Chestnut Hill Academy (noon), followed by #6 Penn Charter vs. #11 The Hun School (N.J.) at 2 p.m. The final game Saturday features #7 Episcopal Academy and #10 Shipley School.
The Quarterfinal games are 4:30 p.m Wednesday, May 18th at the higher seeds’ campus’ sites. The Haverford School will play the winner of #8 vs. #9 game, Malvern Prep plays the winner of #7 vs. #10, Germantown Academy plays the winner of #6 vs. #11 and Bullis plays the winner of #4 vs. #12.
The Semifinals and Finals will be back at Dixon Field on the campus of Cabrini College May 21 and 25, respectfully. Semifinal games begin at 5 PM and 7 PM and the Finals begin at 7 PM.
Tickets for Opening Round games are $5.00 and the Semifinals & Finals are $7.00 per day. To purchase tickets visit http://inter-acinvitational.ticketleap.com/. Seats are limited at both Episcopal Academy and Cabrini College.
Tickets may be purchased at the gate, if available. It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance. EA is an alcohol free campus. Tailgating at Cabrini College is only permitted in designated areas and no alcohol will be permitted inside Dixon Field.
