PAC-10 boys’, girls’ roundup: Spring-Ford boys remain perfect in league play; Methacton tops Phoenixville

Paul Major poured in seven goals and Spring-Ford stayed perfect in 10 Pioneer Athletic Conference boys’ lacrosse games with a decisive 15-7 win over Perkiomen Valley Tuesday night.

Drew Thomas, Zach Monzo and Brian Bock added two goals apiece for the Rams (10-0, 12-1).

The Vikings were led by Pete Sclafani and Ryan Boyd with a pair of goals each.

Methacton 15, Phoenixville 8

The Warriors blew out to a 9-0 lead by intermission and cruised to the PAC-10 win.
Methacton (6-3, 8-4) was led by Sean Aronow (three goals, two assists) and Cody Ridgway (two goals, two assists).

For Phoenixville (0-7, 1-7), Matt Randall had two goals and one assist and Vinnie Dinnovenzo found the back of the net twice.

Upper Perkiomen 9, Phoenixville 8

Leah High completed a hat trick with an overtime goal to carry the Tribe to a victory over the Phantoms.

The victory helped the Tribe improve to 5-4 in the PAC-10 Frontier Division and move past the Phantoms (5-5, 5-7) for the top spot in the division.

UP goalie Katie Lederer collected 19 saves while Kalyn Kates and Mia Baringer had three goals apiece for the winners, offsetting hat tricks by Phoenixville’s Britney Rohall and Marlee Farbstein.

Spring-Ford 16, Pottsgrove 4

The Rams upped their PAC-10 slate to 7-3 behind Maddie Ward’s four goals and two assists. Kira Gensler chipped in with four goals for Spring-Ford (9-4 overall), which also got a hat trick from Leanne Shaw.

Nicole Rohrbach found the back of the net twice for the Falcons (1-8 PAC-10 Frontier, 2-9 overall).

Perkiomen Valley 15, Exeter 14
