Freshman Jordan Wolf (Lower Merion) scored four goals, goalie Dan Wigrizer (Haverford School) made 13 saves and defenseman Billy Conners (Malvern Prep) added four groundballs and a caused turnovers as host Duke defeated Loyola, 14-9, tonight in a men’s non-conference game.
Duke (3-2, ranked No. 12) jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two quarters of lacrosse as it tallied three goals in each period. The Blue Devils defense held Loyola (ranked No. 10) to just 13 shots in the first half and sophomore goaltender Wigrizer made seven saves to keep the Greyhounds scoreless after 30 minutes.

Rob McCallion (Episcopal Academy) scored once as the Cadets improved to 3-2.
Defenseman Mason Poli (Downingtown East) had four groundballs and fellow defender Joe Rauchut (Penn Charter) added two groundballs and a caused turnover for Bryant.
