Emma Hamm (Baldwin School) had two goals and Kim Wenger (Great Valley) added a goal and an assist to power host and No. 4 Duke (2-0) to a 20-12 victory Friday over Richmond in women’s lacrosse.

Jacksonville 10, Denver 7

Goalie Ashley Harman (Boyertow) made seven saves for Denver in its opening-day defeat.

Navy 9, Ohio State 8

Aimee Gennaro (Archbishop Carroll) scored twice and Beth Young (Villa Maria Academy) scored once as the Mids (2-0) edged the Buckeyes (0-2).

Gabby Capuzzi (Archbishop Carroll) scored once for Ohio State (0-2).

Rutgers 17, Wagner 5

Joe Donnelly (Radnor) made two saves in a half of action to earn the win for the Scarlet Knights in goal as they cruised in their opener.

Cody Isdaner (Episcopal Academy) scored times for the Seahawks (0-1).
